An invitation to attend to lived experience.
Phenomenology begins with the world as we live it. In the ordinary moments of everyday life, in our encounters with others, in the places we inhabit, and in the things that call for our attention, meanings are already unfolding.
The Phenomenology of Practice Project offers a space for exploring these meanings through attentive description, philosophical reflection, and the practice of phenomenological writing.
Before we explain the world, we are already involved in it. We touch and are touched, encounter others, inhabit places, and find ourselves drawn toward things that matter.
Phenomenology invites us to return to these experiences and attend more carefully to how the world reveals itself in our everyday lives.
